Icosapent ethyl
Definition: Icosapent ethyl (USAN, EMA), also known by its chemical name ethyl eicosapentaenate and incorrect chemical name ethyl eicosapentaenoic acid (E-EPA), sold under the brand name Vascepa among others, is a medication used to treat dyslipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia.
