Brolucizumab

Definition: Brolucizumab sold under trade name Beovu among others, is a humanized single-chain antibody fragment for the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The most common side effects are reduced visual acuity, cataract (clouding of the lens in the eye), conjunctival haemorrhage (bleeding at the front of the eye) and vitreous floaters (spots in the vision).
